Orchard Primary School

School Council

The School Council has been a successful part of Orchard primary school for a number of years. It is important to run a successful school council giving children a pupil voice in ensuring that we continue to make our school a great place to learn, teach and work in.

Over the past year the school council have been working on a project to improve our conservation area which are continue to work on.

We have also held successful fundraising events and invited our local MP, Mary Macleod to visit our school.
We have met with the school governors to inform them what we do as a school council and share our ideas and aspirations as a school council.

We meet on a regularly basis to discuss important issues and ideas we have about how to improve our school. We type up our agenda and minutes for each meeting so that all the classes are kept informed about the things we discuss.
